Paul G. Abel FRAS

Paul is an astronomer and a co-presenter on the BBC's The Sky at Night. He is currently based in the department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Leicester where he works in the field of Black Hole thermodynamics. As an amateur astronomer, he is concerned largely with visual observations of the Moon and planets, and has an interest in planetary atmospheres. He is a fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and assistant director of the Saturn Section at the British Astronomical Association.
